Love
We believe love is one of the greatest actions we show as we strive to fulfill the Great Commission. We believe every action and program we do, should be spurred out of genuine love for those we are serving. We desire to show the love of God to all members of our teams and communities- regardless of background.

Forgiveness and Reconciliation

Jesus Christ's ministry, death and resurrection is the ultimate example of forgiveness and reconciliation. We believe that forgiving one another is a key principle in healing and reconciling broken systems and communities. We seek to foster reconciliation and forgiveness in the communities that we work in. 

 

Discipleship

At YICA we feel it is integral to disciple those in our programs by regular meetings, practical teachings, and mentorship. Our overall objective is to have trained disciples train others, in a continuing process that focuses on personal transformation and the Lordship of Jesus Christ being established in each of our lives.

Faith

We believe faith in God and His Word is what ultimately redeems and saves people. This foundational belief is what guides us to be diligent in prayer, service, and devotion to God.

Integrity

We believe as followers of Jesus Christ, that we are held to a high standard of integrity, honesty and transparency. YICA seeks to practice integrity in all aspects of our ministry.
