Who We Are
Youth in Christ Africa- YICA is a registered nonprofit Christian organization that was started in Uganda, Africa in 2014 to help uplift, mentor and transform young people and communities.
We began as a small fellowship group of 7 high school students who desired to empower and transform the current generation towards knowing, following and serving Jesus Christ.
At the heart of YICA is a dream of empowering and bringing people of all races back to Christ Jesus. We do this by committing to mission trips, discipleship trainings, leadership trainings, children's ministry and fellowship groups.

Because we firmly believe that everyone needs Christ and his love, and deserves to feel loved, nurtured and cared for.
Because we believe in Jesus’ original idea of making disciples as the only way to grow the body of Christ.
Because we dream to impact and transform youth, families, communities and the world for Christ.
Because we know that when a child is supported with school needs, lives are forever changed with a testimony. Education is like soap that washes away ignorance and poverty.
Because we see the need to uplift and improve the living standards of the Youth and Children in communities where we live.
